A Swedish firetorch is just the same as a Finnish firetorch... it has a few other names as well. In this video do I show the old way of doing it with out a saw and cord. The firetorch is mainly just for getting light in camp doing night time and when it's not possible or just difficult to making fire on the ground example in deep snow or out on a frozen lake etc. It does make a great place for cooking, but is a lot more work compared to just making a campfire like I do on day one.
